Final walk during our stay in Keswick was a relatively gentle one, setting off from our campsite to the undulating grassy hills of High Rigg.

This isn’t a particularly high fell at 356m, but was a pleasant climb up its rolling green slopes. We got good views of Blencathra which we’d climbed the previous day.

We descended, walking past the church and made a loop back, heading towards the Castlerigg stone circle. The sky was threatening rain, but aside from a few spots we stayed dry and ate our lunch by the circle.

From there, it was a straightforward walk back to the campsite. A nice way to end our week in Keswick.
This brings our Wainwright totals to Sarah 25, Paul 43
